TYPOGRAPHY

It is the art and technique of arranging type to make legible and beautiful written language. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, line spacing (leading), letter spacing (tracking) and adjusting the space inside the even letters (kerning  ). Type design is a closely related art, sometimes considered part of typography; Most printers do not design fonts and some type designers are not considered typographers.

TRAPPING

Trap in a press is the ability of a printed ink to accept the next printed ink compared with paper forms that accept the ink well. Registration is when you line all images printed on one over the other. Trapping is a term most widely used in the prepress industry to describe the compensation for registry errors between units in a multicolor printing press. This misregistration causes unsightly gaps or blank in the final printed piece.

WEAVES

The current technique of frames, is variable in size points between 1% and 99%, depending on the lines per inch LPI (lines per inch), the main feature is that it has angles for each color and create a rosette. This technique uses the integration of human optics to give an appearance of continuous tone where there are really only four shades of printing inks (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) color also given by substrate or paper.
